Trailer for a new and very special Israeli movie "Waltz With Bashir" tells the story of an Israeli man who suffered from Posttraumatic stress disorder after the 1982 war in Lebanon. 20 years later he finally finds the power and strength to deal with the horror. The result is a wildly acclaimed and visually stunning movie. Here's the trailer:

Childhood dream comes true My beloved basketball team, since i was of 12 years old or so, won the Israeli Championship last night, for the first time ever (and probably the last, at least in my lifetime). I cried shamelessly...hee. I swear i'm somewhere in this cellphone clip...;) Current Mood: ecstatic | | Tuesday, May 27th, 2008 | | 8:04 am |

Sex And The City - The Movie Disappointment. Some things are better left untouched. | | Saturday, May 24th, 2008 | | 4:37 pm |
I always thought that The OC and Grey's Anatomy shared one thing, beside the same Time Slot that killed The OC for good (FUCK FOX!)- No matter if i loved or hated an episode - The music was always great and original and sometimes unforgettable. I'm not a big GA fan, but i do watch it, and i mostly disliked last week's season finale, but it left me with a simply wonderful song. It's so new, you can't even get it on CD or on-line, so thank god for the miracle that is YouTube. Please enjoy the little marvel that is The Quest By Bryn Christopher. Give yourself 3 minutes of pure fun Current Mood: amused | | Tuesday, May 20th, 2008 | | 7:13 pm |
Remembering Jimmy Stewart One of the greatest actors ever would have been 100 years old today, May 20, and though even i not that old to be around when he was at his prime - Jimmy Stewart made me the movies lover that i am, and every actor i see, i measure against him. This vid contain clips from Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, It's A Wonderful Life, Vertigo and more, and it's old school, no bullshit acting at its very best. Cheers, Jimmy, wherever you are, i hope you have a DVD player. Current Mood: nostalgic | | Monday, May 19th, 2008 | | 4:39 pm |
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Had to luck to see an advanced screening today, and had a very good time. It's not bad at all, definitely not embarrassing as i feared it will be (Harrison Ford is a pretty hot old man...), it's true to the franchise and full of fun rides. It's not as good as, let's say Iron Man (Cause that one is made of awesome), but it's a great way to spend couple of hours in the summer, and nice throw back for those of us who grew up on Henry Jones Jr. Current Mood: content | | Saturday, May 17th, 2008 | | 12:00 am |
This is very cool It suppose to be a promotional film for Volvo, but it's actually a very very smart and tricky short film. It's from 2004, but i only saw it now, as my Robert Downey Jr. obsession is in high gear. Give yourself 10 minutes of cleverness and great acting. Part 1: Part 2: Current Mood: impressed | | Thursday, May 15th, 2008 | | 5:05 pm |

Happy Birthday, southerngirl22! Since it's already after midnight here, i allow myself to wish all the best to my first ever LJ friend. So SG, wherever you are, have a wonderful day and a wonderful year. Cheers! | | Monday, May 12th, 2008 | | 11:51 pm |
Funniest trailer i've seen in a very long time And not just because of his awesomeness Robert Downey Jr., who really should be the father of my child (well, one of the fathers. I have a long list). Anyway, enjoy the madness. Current Mood: silly | | 5:11 pm |
Thank You, My wise flist For listenning, advising and giving me so many good points of view. After few very stressful days and nights, i finally decided to stay with my team. Only the future will tell if it's the right decision, but right now, i feel it is. You will never know how helpful you've been. Love you, my dear friends. I need to hear some wise flist advice Imagine that you are, let's say, a basketball player and your team is always in second place. Not because it's not good, but simply because the team that in first place is much much wealthier, can buy all the good players and got all the fans and media behind it, so they win every game. One day you get an offer to go to that team. Now, you love your team, your status is good and you kinda enjoy playing for the underdogs. Problem is, there's a constant fear hanging above that the team won't survive, something that obviously is no worry in that other team. Financially, the offer you get from the big team is not better than what you have now, but then again, that team is not going to be shot down, while yours might. As you probably figured by now, i'm that player, and i'm facing a huge dilemma. I have no professional (it's the same role), social and even immediate financial reasons to move, i love the place i'm at, but there is a fear for the fate of my workplace and a chance to go to that better team may not come again. I'm not a young chicken anymore. :( I'd appreciate any thoughts. Thanks. Current Mood: confused | | Sunday, May 4th, 2008 | | 10:37 pm |
God, what a great love affair "THE CAST and crew of the upcoming "The X-Files: I Want to Believe" were just a few weeks into filming in Vancouver when Frank Spotnitz, the co-writer and co-producer with creator-director Chris Carter, called star David Duchovny over to a laptop computer to watch a fan-made video on YouTube. It was a montage of scenes from the old "X-Files" show set to Sarah McLachlan's forlorn "When She Loved Me". "It was intensely romantic and it almost brought tears to my eyes," Duchovny recalled. "It really did. When we were doing the show, Gillian [Anderson] and I had got tired of it. I remember struggling. But now I think, 'God, what a great love affair.'" http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/movies/la-ca-duchovny4-2008may04,0,7627706.story |
